Professor Chun Liu’s research lies at the intersection of nonlinear partial differential equations, calculus of variations, multiscale modeling, with applications in complex fluids, soft matter and active materials, charge transport and electrokinetics, and various biophysical systems. He received his PhD from New York University and held faculty positions in many universities. He has also served for many years as an editor for numerous journals.
