Ms Leung has extensive work experience in social work. She has worked in the fields of school social work, counselling, children and youth, elderly and rehabilitation services. She had also worked in the Legislative Council as Chief Assistant Secretary. She was the Executive Director of Fu Hong Society till 2012.
Ms Leung is committed to serving the social work profession and the public. She was a member on various committees of the Hong Kong Council of Social Services and the Vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Social Workers Association, a member of the Advisory Committee of Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong, the Steering Committee of HKU 81 Inclusion Fund and Henry Chan Inclusive Education Fund, and the Advisory Committee of Department of Social Sciences of the Caritas Institute of Higher Education. She is now a Council Member of the Hong Kong Special Care Dentistry Association and the Loving Similes Foundation.
