Joint University Mental Wellness Festival

Joint University Mental Wellness Festival is one of the key inter-institutional activities of the year of Joint University Mental Wellness Project (JUMP). The participating universities are the City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Baptist University, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Education University of Hong Kong.

Joint University Mental Wellness Festival will be launched in October 2018 and November 2018 to promote mental wellness of the students. Various self-exploration experiential activities applying the concepts of positive psychology to daily life will be run across four participating universities. Positive Psychology comprises the cultivation of character strengths, positive emotions, engagement, relationship, accomplishment, and meaning of life, aiming to promote wellbeing of people.

Project aims

* to foster the well-being and mental health of university students

* to help students discover their character strengths

* to help students savour positive experiences

* to help students establish good relationship with other students from different universities

* to facilitate students to fully engage in their lives and identify their life purposes.

Target students

All full time undergraduate students of the five participating universities in academic year 2018-2019 are welcome.
