JUMP - Overnight Camp! Open for application!

JUMP - Joint University Mental-Wellness Project

JUMP (Joint-University Mental-Wellness Project), an inter-institutional project aiming at promoting well-being and mental health of university students, has been launched in October this year. Funded by the University Grants Committee (UGC), the project is implemented jointly by the City University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Baptist University. Adopting the frameworks of positive psychology and experiential learning, JUMP aims to facilitate university students to reflect on the meanings of life and enhance their concern for others and the society.

All the activities are FREE OF CHARGE. Student participants will be awarded a certificate of appreciation upon completion of the program. The project will also support university teaching colleagues to integrate positive education into their teaching activities.

At present, students are welcome to sign up the Joint University Overnight Camp!  I would therefore cordially invite you to help promote this project to your students.

The Joint University Overnight Camp of JUMP will be held in Breakthrough at Shatin on January 13 and 14, 2018. Have you signed up for the event yet?  In this overnight camp, you have chances to make acquaintance with students from four universities, and to experience various activities on team building, personality dimension ® and self-exploration, etc. These activities can inspire you to analyze your character, explore and reflect your meaning of life.

This overnight camp is free of charge, including board and lodging. For signing up, you only need to click into the website or scan the QR code to complete the application form, and pay 100 HKD to the person in charge of your university for deposit. A colleague will contact you after you have signed up. The deposit will be totally refunded on January 13, the first date of the camp. Quota is limited, so please apply as soon as possible! (Priority application will be given to students who have participated in JUMP’s workshops). Join us make positive!
