Tips in preparing and utilizing process rocording
- students may find it helpful to make comprehensive notes as soon as possible after the interview
- use separate columns to record content, feelings, observation and reflection so as to help you learn to separate the objective material from the subject
- discuss with instructor on what to process record (e.g. which interview ) so as to capitalize on your professional learning and development
- as far as possible do your first process recording early in placement
- give process recording to your instructor in advance for him/her to read and make comments before supervision session
