Hall Application 2019/20


(a) Eligibility

Non-local student (2018 Entry)

Non-local students admitted to full-time Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine with Top Level or Level One Scholarship are eligible for application in University-Managed Accommodation in Jockey Club House.

Year of residence:

This eligibility only applies to their first two years of study and for the remaining years of their study, students are expected to secure off-campus accommodation in Hong Kong.

Admission Policy:    

First-come first-served

Construction works around JCH will be carried out throughout the whole residential year. Noise and vibration are expected.


(d) Fees & Charges of University-managed Accommodation (UMA)

The Hall lodging fees for 2019/20 is listed below.
Full residential year hall places are to be offered to successful applicants.

Hall lodging fees of residential year 2019/2020 are payable in two instalments to cover the whole residential period. In general, the due date of the 1st instalment is in mid Oct and the 2nd instalment is in mid Jan.

Hall lodging fee and associated charges will be collected and processed in a similar fashion as other student fees and charges, by incorporating into the regular fee statements issued by the Finance Office.



(e) Result Announcement & Confirmation Fee

  Successful applicant will receive a notifying email by batch and pay a confirmation fee, which is non-transferable and non-refundable. Failure to settle the confirmation fee before the specified date will lead to rescindment of the offer in JCH.

Applicants can settle the confirmation fee by Visa or Master of completing mailing order. *No payment via ATM is accepted. All charges paid in this connection are non-refundable and non-transferable.
