Come and join the Orientation Camp or Night organised by your hall!

Let・s hear some comments from several residents who participated in the hall orientation activities last year.

A girl from Hall 2 said, :Although it only lasted for a couple of days, it was one of the most exciting experiences I have ever had. I sensed the warmth and greetings from the big family. It seemed that the group acted like as a whole. Our group leaders treated us as their younger brothers and sisters. One thing which impressed me was that our group leaders had already prepared delicious breakfasts for us in spite of the fact that they had slept less than 5 hours the night before.;

Mainland students reckoned that hall orientation activities helped their adjustment and making new friends.A boy who is a mainland student from Hall 6 shared, :I know a lot of local friends through the O・Camp. They are pretty kind-hearted and always willing to teach me Cantonese. Because most participants were locals, the language used in the O・Camp was Cantonese. But they explained the rule in Putonghua with patience.;

Another resident who took part in the O・Camp organised by Hall 4 last year also enjoyed the team spirit. :I not only had a great fun, but also learn something. For example, when playing games each group participated as an entity. You wouldn・t be the winner without cooperating with other group members.;
