The results of the Inter-hall Photography Competition have been announced. The first award winner of the ¡§Independent¡¨ category is ¡§Night View from the Roof of Hall 8¡¨, in which the forest of skyscrapers is decorated with colourful lights against the backdrop of a bluish sky. The photographer, Yang Hao from Hall 8, presented a splendid Hong Kong at dusk.
¡§Creativity with Floormates¡¨, the first award winner of the ¡§Story¡¨ category, comprises three pictures of residents that were taken at different places by Tse Wai Sing, a resident from JC Academy Hall. It demonstrates the harmony among the residents and the diversity of the floor. Not only are the pictures well taken, there are also some word plays with the name and theme of every picture.
The Competition has long been part of the Professor Edmond Ko Cup. This year the winning entries went online and were posted on the Blackboard site for viewing and voting by all residents. All entries embody residential life from the eyes of residents and express residents¡¦ wishes for a better future. The winner of ¡§My Favourite Photograph¡¨ is the entry ¡§Our Dream Hall¡¨ by Lee Hoi Ting Shirley, a resident from JC Harmony Hall.
