How time flies! The exam period is nearly over and summer term is approaching. For those who are going to stay in our residence during summer term, here is a special notice for you.
Students' need for residence places is usually lower in summer than in regular terms. However, the Student Residence is operated on a self-financing basis. Summer letting of student residence places to external visitors is essential to generate extra income so that the residence fee for students can be kept to a reasonably low level. The Student Residence is therefore open for letting during the summer vacation period. While CityU students are eligible to apply to stay in the summer, CityU student societies, departments and outside organisations may also apply for campus accommodation for their functions, such as learning camps, workshops, conferences, seminars and research activities. So you will see many new faces in a couple of weeks.
In order to protect our student residents' privacy and their residence life, the floors designated for CityU students in each hall are as below:

To the new comers, whether they are CityU students or outside guests, your helping hand is essential for them to get orientated in the community. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet some new friends and show your hospitality as a CityU host.
