Many Mainland students, especially those who are finishing their foundation year study, will go back home after the examination period in May. So their heavy luggage will become a problem. Here our Student Residence Office would like to provide some information about summer storage.

Last year the Chinese Students & Scholars Association (CSSA) arranged an excellent storage service for Mainland students. They bargained with several storage companies and agreed on a reasonable price. Two time slots (19 May and 22 May, 2:00pm-4:00pm) were provided for luggage collection in the student residence. On 29 August, when most students had already come back, the luggage was transported to the residence to be picked up.

Students’ luggage was packed in their own suitcases or carton boxes, which were available for purchase at Homey Kitchen.

This year the arrangements will be almost the same, except for the change from 2 time slots
to 1 time slot for luggage collection. SRO will provide a Multi-function Hall for the collection of
luggage. Detailed procedures will be announced soon, so please check your emails.

CSSA always makes great efforts to serve our Mainland residents. We express our gratitude to
