For many residents, when they think of the Student Residence, what comes into their mind is the image of a peaceful bay welcoming back home every night a little boat, which has experienced storms and rains in the daytime or become tired after a whole dayˇ¦s fishing outside. However, when some residents are happy, other residents may not be. Most times weˇ¦re happy but at times weˇ¦re not. Have you encountered any of the following situations?
ˇ@ˇ@1. Iˇ¦ve just hurt myself in the Residence and am bleeding.
ˇ@ˇ@2. I feel very unwell in bed, but no one knows and no one is taking care of me.
ˇ@ˇ@3. Itˇ¦s already midnight, but theyˇ¦re still shouting or talking too loud outside! !

You may feel at a loss or you may feel angry. You may have no idea what to do or you may want to do something to stop it immediately. In these unusual cases, your decision is critical for solving the problem. Recently a few residents called 999 when they could not bear the late-night disturbance in the Residence. May we offer you suggestions for
a better solution?

experience of all residents.
