A great chance to demonstrate your taste of residence life through the lens of a camera! A great chance to appreciate your fellows’ perceptions of residence life! The Inter-hall Photography Competition, with the theme “Eyes on Res.” is being held across two semesters of the current housing year.

Two categories are open under the theme of the Competition, namely “Independent” and “Story”. The latter category takes the form of story telling and requires three to five separate photos that should tell a story or present an interpretation of a subject. If you missed the chance to participate in the Competition by sending your entries, do not miss the chance to vote for your favourite photos! From March 7 to 8, all the participants’ work will be displayed on the Blackboard (Bb). Bb users are invited to view the entries and cast their vote for “My Favorite Photograph” through the Bb. Meanwhile, a panel of judges invited by the Sub-committee will select the winners in the categories.

The Competition was first held in 2005. Last year more than 90 entries were received and presented to the whole residence. We sincerely appreciate the efforts that have tremendously graced our residence life.
