It’s December!  Another month, semester and calendar year have flown by.  For some of us, it’s time to pack our bags and head back to our home universities; for others, it’s time to travel home for the first time since August.  And for most, it’s a time to be thankful to have survived another semester unscathed! Whether you are returning home or staying in Hong Kong for a happy Christmas holiday for the semester break, there are plenty of ways to make it a happy and enjoyable holiday.

Once again, join us on our quest to learn more about the corners of the student residence as we take a peek into life in Halls 7, 8 & 9. Want to know a little more?  Check out this story on some volunteer work that Hall 9 residents are doing for special-needs students at Cornwall School or this report on the “dark horse” of this year’s Inter-hall Table Tennis Competition.

As time passes by and we come to know more about ourselves and those around us, it’s natural that parts of who we are change over time.  We might become more studious, our goals in life might change and one day we may find ourselves grown and married.  Although those transitions are not always smooth, let’s take this holiday season as an opportunity to be thankful for the journey that we’re on and to embrace whatever stage of life we may be in.

From all of us here at the ResLink, we wish you the best of luck on your final exams. We are happy to offer you these tips to help you get through the stress of the exam period. Remember to keep the F-E-S-T in ‘Festive’ and have a safe and happy holiday.  See you next semester!
