Q: What is the size of stored luggage?

A: On the condition that stored luggage exceeds the standard size (22 x 16 x 14 inch), the charges for the stored luggage will be calculated in the sum of the stored luggage’s volume divided by the standard volume.  All boxes should be packed properly with name tags attached, especially those containing liquid items. Students are advised to place desiccant in the boxes to prevent the items from gathering mildew under continual wet weather. Dangerous items, such as inflammable and explosive objects, are NOT allowed.

Q: Can my friends help collect my luggage? What if I miss the collection date?
A: Yes, but your friend(s) should present an authorization letter. Luggage unclaimed will be transported back to the company. To fetch it, you have to bear all extra expenditure and CSSA will not refund the deposit for these cases.

Q: What about claims for loss and damage?
The storage company is solely responsible for the storage service. The transportation team is solely responsible for the conveyance of the storage items, with  no responsibility attributed to CSSAUG@CITYU.  CSSA will NOT be responsible for any loss and damage of the stored items. But CSSA may help to contact the storage company and transportation team, as the representative of all students who use the plan.

Q: What if I fail to join the plan but need the service?
A: There are many local mini stores that provide storage service. You can search online to find a company suitable for your needs.
