Nowadays people believe that a slender body is beautiful. Being more concerned about their weight, people try every means to keep fit. It is not wrong to become beautiful. So if you are troubled by your weight, are planning or already following a diet, you do not have to be shy. Rather, the Student Residence provides something special for you.

There is a common misunderstanding that to keep fit the key procedure is to control the amount of your daily food intake. But the fact is that it is usually your nutrition structure that matters more. If your food comprises mainly oil and fat, it is hard to keep your body graceful. So if you want to lose weight, choosing balanced nutrition is the key. Try to list a nutrition table for all the daily food you have and you will get a clear view of what you need and what you don’t. And if you have full understanding of the nutrition tags on food, it is even easier for you to take action.

But to live a healthy life style, you need to do more than diet. Regular exercise is a must. For example, gymnastics is useful in two respects: to ease pressure and to keep a well-functioning body. If you do regular exercise, you will find yourself in good shape and have high concentration in study.

The Christian Nethersole Community Health Service and Student Residence Office organised two workshops for residents:
