ResLink ¡V Linking the Residence, You & Your family

SPECIAL NOTICE
¡@
Since its first publication in October 2007, ResLink has published 14 issues and served as a means of communication between the Student Residence Office (SRO) and student residents. The Newsletter was named ¡§ResLink¡¨ in December 2007, after a naming competition, and has blossomed thanks to residents¡¦ contributions. It provides students with a platform to apply their writing skills and design creatively. When the first issue of the e-newsletter was published in October 2007, our Editorial Board (EB) had only three members: Esther from SRO and two student residents, Jason and Firenze. The EB was then expanded, with new student residents joining at different times, including Falcon, Camille, Angela and Winnie.
The EB has always tried its best to enrich students¡¦ hall life and meet their needs. ¡§Cover Story¡¨ is the centre-piece of the month; ¡§Special Notice¡¨ provides readers with updated news about the Student Residence and tips for enjoying their living; ¡§Hall Fun!¡¨ throws light upon various hall activities; ¡§Life in a Microcosm¡¨ introduces the rich elements of our residence community and our students¡¦ stories about living and growing in the diverse residence community; and "Seasonal Care" gives considerate reminders for students¡¦ health and well-being.
Shakespeare once said: ¡§There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes.¡¨ And we say: ¡§There are varied tastes of residence life in our 2,973 residents, too!¡¨ So why not share your stories with all our residents through ResLink?
