All non-local/incoming exchange students are eligible to apply for a hall place.
  How does the Student Residence Office allocate rooms to applicants?
   
Rooms will be allocated based on the room availability.
  If my application is successful, what is the exact period of my stay in Student Residence for 2008-09?
   
One week before the Semester starts till one week after the examination ends.
Semester A: 25 August 2008 - 27 December 2008
Semester B: 5 January 2009 - 23 May 2009
  How much are the hall charges?
   
  Apart from the hall charge, are there any charges that residents should pay?
   
Residents should pay for the air-conditioning of their bed-study rooms and laundry charges.
