Teaching and students

Teaching Qualification: HEA Senior Fellow (UKSPF Descriptor 3). 
Taught developed and coordinated a variety of courses for Law and for Oceanography at discipline and interdisciplinary undergraduate (3rd year) and postgraduate (MSc. and LLM) courses (1999- ). Subjects covered: Admiralty Law, Carriage of Goods by Sea, International Marine Environmental law, International Maritime Law and Policy, Global Ocean Monitoring, Have supervised >100 master dissertations. Nine PhD students supervised to completion.

Publications and Metrics

More than 150 publications in Oceanography and Maritime Law including >90 in peer reviewed journals, 1 co-authored book, 25 book chapters, 10 conference proceedings, 11 official reports. More than 150 presentations in international conferences.
