Mr. Chi Kee Ming is a Visiting Fellow teaching in the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) programme. He has taught various courses in the PCLL including Corporate and Commercial Practice, Commercial Writing and Drafting and is currently the joint course leader for the Professional Conduct and Practice course.
Kee Ming has a general commercial background, specialising in infrastructure, resource and technology projects. Admitted to practice in England and Wales, Singapore and Hong Kong, he has worked in various jurisdictions advising both public sector and private sector organisations on contractual and regulatory issues.
His experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, public private partnerships, privatisations, regulatory arrangements in respect of renewable energy, petrochemical joint ventures and various aspects of mining, oil and gas projects (both upstream and downstream). Prior to teaching at City University, he served for a number of years as the General Counsel for a listed mining company and has over eleven years of experience in private practice with various international law firms.Kee Ming speaks both English and Mandarin and holds graduate and post-graduate qualifications from Australian, Singaporean and English universities.
