Short-term Visit Programme

Introduction

Our Short-term Visit Programme welcomes scholars who hold full-time appointment in a law school in any places in the world other than Hong Kong and specialize in the areas of Chinese and comparative law to visit our Centre and conduct research here for a period of not more than two months.

During their visits, the short-term visitors may participate in the seminars, conferences and other academic activities of CCCL and the School of Law.

 

Application

While applicants of this Programme may be nominated by CCCL members, we also welcome unsolicited applications. A strict and competitive selection procedure will be conducted by CCCL core members to decide the successful applicants.

Any person who is interested in becoming a CCCL’s Short-term Visitor should complete the application form below and submit it together with a curriculum vitae, a description of the proposed research (including the working paper in progress and a work plan for the period in residence at the Center), as well as a cover letter describing how the applicant will benefit from a period at the Center to: Director, Visiting Fellow Program, Center for Chinese and Comparative Law, School of Law, City University of Hong Kong, Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon, Hong Kong, or by email to lwrccl@cityu.edu.hk. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by email.
