Professor Wang Jiangyu, Director of the CCCL, argued that the goal of bringing down the West through hyperinflation is a nebulous one. Some analysts believe that Russia is now planning to fight a long-term war of attrition in Ukraine, in turn using hyperinflation to bring down the U.S. and the West, but Professor Wang believed that it could be seen as an economic conspiracy.
