CCCL Director Professor Wang Jiangyu commented on the trial of two Canadian citizens who are facing espionage charges in China in an interview with The Globe & Mail on 22 March 2021. He discussed the possible link between this trial and the Meng Wanzhou case and observed that the trial seemingly followed China’s own judicial procedures.
