Professor Wang Jiangyu, Director of the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law, spoke at Qingyou Talk, an entrepreneurs club in China, on how Hong Kong’s National Security Law may affect Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre in Asia and the world. He argued that the National Security Law may bring political stability in Hong Kong but advised careful law enforcement so that Hong Kong’s position as China’s only international financial centre is not undermined.
