Professor Wang Jiangyu, RCCL Director, was quoted in a report of the Reuters on the first comprehensive Civil Code to be enacted by China’s National People’s Congress. He believed that Civil Code would give more complete protection to individual rights and property, but also warned that the key is effective enforcement of the code in a rule of law context.
