本資料庫建立於一九九七年，其主要目的是配合社會工作與高齡人士的課程計劃，幫助安老服務同工掌握有關長者的知識及利用本地可供借用的活動資料，以便更有效地推行各項安老活動。我們更在一九九九年，增添了互聯網資源網頁，希望藉此能為瀏覽者提供更多有關安老服務的國際資訊，透過擴闊視野，不斷求進，務求以更專業及優質服務，迎接新紀元的挑戰。 |
This database was originally designed in 1997 to help front-line practitioners have a better understanding of the locally available resources. A new feature, Internet Resource, was compiled during 1999 to provide an international perspective for our users. We strive continuously to work together, equip ourselves, and to face the challenges in providing professional and quality services to our senior citizens in Hong Kong. |
