Top 2% in the world in their own areas of specialty

According to a recent study by Stanford University, six SEEM faculty members were among the top 2% of most highly-cited scientists of the world, reflecting the high academic standard of our faculty and our excellent research performance. The six SEEM faculty members include Professor Way Kuo (President and University Distinguished Professor), Professor Chuangyin Dang (Acting Head and Professor), Dr. Kwai-sang Chin (Associate Head and Associate Professor), Professor Min Xie (Chair Professor), Professor Han-xiong Li (Professor), and Dr. Peter W. Tse (Associate Professor).

The Stanford-listed scholars have demonstrated substantial influence in various disciplines through the publication of multiple highly cited papers ranked according to citation impact from 1996 to 2019.
