Call for Papers

“Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering”, a SCI journal published by Springer, will publish a special issue for the selected full papers of the conference.

Submission of Abstracts

Original paper contributions that are relevant to the topics are invited. The abstracts (around 300 words or two pages) written in English should be submitted online to the conference web-site, www.cityu.edu.hk/seem/ircsems2016/, and it needs to fill in the required information and upload the abstract MS Word file to the web-site. The extended deadline is 10 Jan 2016. Notification of Abstract Acceptance will be made to the respective authors by 15 Jan 2016. Submission of Full Papers*

After the confirmation of abstract acceptance, the author will receive the Paper ID. Then the file name of the full paper is the Paper ID, and the paper should be limited to 6 pages, written in English and submitted by email via progchair16@cityu.edu.hk on or before 15 February 2016.

* The acceptance of presentation is based on the abstract. The submission of full paper is optional. However, only the submissions of full papers are eligible for Best Paper Awards. Also, “Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering”, a SCI journal published by Springer, will publish a special issue for the selected full papers of the conference.


Best Young Faculty Paper Award(s)

Eligible authors to be considered:

  • Submit full paper,
  • Is within five years of his/her full time academic job as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor or career equivalent involving teaching and research duties at an institution of higher education or equivalent at a non-profit research institution,
  • Is the first author of the accepted paper, and
  • Present the paper at the conference.

Best Student Paper Award(s)

Eligible authors to be considered:

  • Submit full paper,
  • Is enrolled as student at the time of submission and registration,
  • Is the first author of the accepted paper, and
  • Present the paper at the conference.
