Welcome to the Lee Research Group!
We are a research group in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong. Our main research focus is Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology. We are especially interested in addressing biological questions related to energy, environment and human health. We work at the interface of fundamental microbial sciences, biotechnology and engineering. Our research strives to apply microbes to solve pressing problems facing our society.
News: Postdoctoral Fellow Opportunities
Our research group is currently recruiting a number of Postdoctoral Fellows who have expertise in the following areas: (i) metagenomics or bioinformatics, (ii) metabolic engineering or molecular biology, and (iii) genome-scale modelling. The successful candidates will participate in a couple of new projects related to biobased chemicals or microbiome.
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in chemical engineering, metabolic engineering, bioengineering, microbiology, molecular biology, systems biology, bioinformatics or a related discipline. Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
