SEE MPhil student invited by the APEC Climate Center (APCC) as a Young Scientist

Our MPhil student, Mr. Tony TUNG, has been selected among hundreds of applicants as one of the ten qualified young scientist for the APEC Climate Center (APCC) Young Scientist Support Program 2013. Located in Busan, South Korea, APCC aims at realizing the APEC vision of regional prosperity by providing climate information services and technical support to the country and areas around for better planning and reduction of economic losses due to adverse climatic conditions.

Tony is invited to conduct research in the themes of climate prediction and monitoring, climate change and impact assessments, and climate informatics and applications in the Centre for 3 months starting from mid April 2013.
