Congratulations to one of our PhD students, Mr. Charlie Lok, for receiving the Best Student Poster Award at the 13th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Oceania Geosciences Society held in Beijing during 1-5 August 2016.

Congratulations to Charlie C. F. Lok, a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Johnny Chan in the School of Energy and Environment (SEE), for receiving the Best Student Poster Award in the 13th Annual Meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) held in Beijing in the period, 31 July to 5 August 2016. 

This is one of six awards given to the best student posters in the Atmospheric Science Section of AOGS. This year, a total of 114 student posters were submitted for the competition. The criteria for the awards include scientific content, poster design and poster presentation.

AOGS is the largest academic society in the Asia-Oceania region covering all aspects of geosciences, with more than 5000 members. Among them, the Atmospheric Science section has the most members.
