Congratulations to Prof. Michael Leung on his Best Presentation Award at the 18th International Conference on Clean Energy (ICCE2016) held in San Francisco on June 9-10, 2016.

Prof. Michael Leung received the Best Presentation Award in the 18th International Conference on Clean Energy (ICCE2016) held in San Francisco on June 9-10, 2016. ICCE2016 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars for academic and professional exchange on clean energy. The title of Michael's presentation was "Plasmonic Resonance Based Photocatalysis and Photovoltaics for Solar Utilization." The research is part of Mr. FAN Wenguang's (PhD candidate) dissertation. In this research, modification of nano photocatalyst by plasmonic resonance was successfully developed to improve the visible-light sensitivity. Michael's ongoing research aims to further enhance the nanomaterial modification for solar cell and water splitting hydrogen production applications. The research is partially funded by GRF and ITF.
