The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is pleased to launch the Student Innovative Activities/Competitions Fund that support meaningful student-led activities. This fund will allow you to bring your aspiring ideas to fruition and take your existing projects to the next level or participate in competitions. You will be supported to organize and participate in local/overseas activities, so as to develop the Seven Attributes SEE expects from our graduates (i.e. technically competent, interdisciplinary, problem solvers, innovative and entrepreneurial, effective communicators, life-long learners, leaders with a global vision).
General application eligibility and proposal submission timeline are outlined below. For details of the fund, please refer to the attached “Rules and Eligibility” Information Sheet.

Financial award capped at HK$40,000 per project.
Application is open during academic year 2018-19, but applicants must observe the following timeline:
Round I: 31 October 2018 (Wednesday)
Round II: 31 January 2019 (Thursday)
Round III: 31 May 2019 (Friday)
All applications [i.e. duly prepared proposal meeting the requirements set in Part (IV) of the attached “Rules and Eligibility” Information Sheet] should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with email subject “Application for SEE Student Innovative Activities/Competitions Fund”.
SEE judging panel will review the applications and shortlist suitable ones. If necessary, an interview will be arranged. The amount of award will be confirmed by the panel based on merits of the projects.
