Deferral of Tuition Payment

Notes for Application

Deferral of Tuition Fee Payment

through Student Development Services (SDS)

1. Each student will only be allowed to apply for deferral of tuition fee once for each tuition instalment. For instance, if you have been approved deferral of your tuition once with your Government Grant and Loan application as a reason, you cannot apply for deferral again merely because your Grant and Loan application is confirmed unsuccessful. Even though you are in the process of lodging an appeal for your Grant and Loan result or applying for assistance under the Non-means Tested Loan, you have to settle your tuition first and no further deferral of tuition will be granted.

2. Approval for deferral of tuition payment will be granted by SDS only if you have genuine financial need. Apart from submitting all the required document by the due date, you may also be invited to an interview conducted at SDS.
