Scholarship for Prospective English Teachers 2012/2013

The Scholarship, organised by the Education Bureau, aims to attract students who are proficient in English to pursue English major study programmes in local higher education institutions and become English language teachers on graduation.

The Scholarship is tenable for normal duration of intended study programmes.  Upon graduation, awardees will have to undertake to teach English full-time in primary or secondary schools in Hong Kong for three years.

Applications for the scholarship will be accepted from July to August 2012.  Applicants are required to submit the completed application form and copies of supporting documents to Professional Development and Training Division, Education Bureau (EDB). Details about the application procedure will be posted on the website of EDB in June 2012.
