Aim: To reward students who are suffering from some kinds of physical or
              mental hardships and have made academic achievement.

 

Awards: Two cash awards of HK$10,000 each

 

Eligibility: 

 

CityU full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students who:

 

i. are suffering from physical or mental hardship which is documented

   medically;

 

ii. has completed two semesters of study at CityU after first entrance; and

 

iii. has achieved a certain standard of academic achievement, preferably

     with a CGPA of 2.8 or above in spite of his/her individual hardship.

 

Preference will be given to candidates pursing a degree or major offered by the Department of Chinese and History or Department of Linguistics and Translation and/or with financial need.

 

Application Procedures :

 

Scholarship shall be open for application.  All application forms should reach SDS Counter (6/F, Amenities Building) by 8 December 2014 (Monday), 5:00 p.m.  Application form is available @www.cityu.edu.hk/sds/sch/SEE_PO_YAN/SPY.htm

 

Incomplete or late application will not be considered.
