The mission of the City Toastmasters Club is to provide a supportive environment for members to develop public speaking, communication and leadership skills.
The City Toastmasters Club fosters members to speak up. It provides opportunity for each member to speak, give comments and at the same time be commented on. Through peer teaching, members of the City Toastmasters Club can be mutually benefited.
Realizing the importance of communication and leadership skills, the City Toastmasters Club was founded in 1993 as a non-profit organization for students, staff and alumni in City University of Hong Kong (CityU). We are seeking a way to improve their speaking and leading skills in English.
It registers under Toastmasters International (TI).
