Professor Zhang Hua

  • Media veteran boasting expertise in both acting and directing in theatre, TV drama and film
  • Winner of the Grand Performance Contribution Award for the 80th Anniversary of the CCCP Celebration (2001) and Teaching Excellence Award (2003) from the National Ministry of Education, PRC

Professor Zhou Dengfu

  • Class master of the most famous class 78 which led to the emergence of the “Fifth Generation” directors
  • Currently serves as Panel Member (Art Direction) for Golden Hawk TV Award and Golden Rooster Film Award

Mr Julian Lee

  • Line Producer for award-winning features including Farewell China, Full Moon in New York and An Autumn’s Tale
  • Producer for the documentary, Cancer : From Evolution to Revolution, which won the George Foster Peabody Award 2001

Mr David Yip

  • Scriptwriter for Panda Genesis, a feature length animation film for TVbean, and for Oh Karen, a screenplay commissioned by Director Ann Hui
  • Co-editor for In Living Heritage, a documentary for Hong Kong Museum of Heritage

Mr Robert Ellis-Geiger

  • Director of Education and Training of the Hong Kong Society of Sound Designers and Engineers
  • Music Composer for Johnnie To’s Election II

Dr Hector Rodriguez

  • Specialist in Asian film history, the philosophy of film, and digital culture
  • Animated video work widely shown in Hong Kong, Germany and India, with Res Extensa winning the award for best work of digital moving images in 2003-4 Hong Kong Art Biennial

Mr Patrick Tam

  • One of the most important figures in the Hong Kong new wave in the 1980s
  • Editor of Johnnie To's Election and Director of the recent film
