Academic Qualifications :

PhD in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin MA in Cinema Studies from New York University BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University

Background:

Prior to joining the start-up team in the School of Creative Media, Fore taught at the University of North Texas, Ohio University, and the University of Texas. He also was awarded a Fulbright teaching/research fellowship at Hong Kong Baptist University during the 1996-97 academic year. Fore's primary teaching interests are in animation history and theory, the cultural aspects of new technologies, "new" and "old" media history and theory, and documentary studies. Dr. Fore is a member of professional organizations including the Society for Cinema Studies, the University Film and Video Association, the International Animated Film Association, and the society for Animation Studies.
