Background:
Bryan Chung, this is my name. Shall we start in the last century? In 1985, I graduated in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. That led to a job in the government and then in the IBM Hong Kong Limited. Another ten years or more, I left Hong Kong, maybe just for a while. I went to London. In the London College of Printing, I studied a master degree programme in interactive multimedia. That is a design college. Afterwards, I started working on media arts and design projects. At the same time, I teach in various universities and technical college. Now I am here.

It was a collaboration work with Mr. Hung Keung to provide a piece of interactive digital art installation for the opening of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Shatin in the year of 2000.

I was commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Centre to develop a multimedia CD-ROM (Poor Tech), on the topic of Hong Kong economy and information technology, which was exhibited in Oct. 1999 and to be published in late Dec. 1999. It was the first piece of media art produced locally in this medium. |
