| Fan Ruiping came to CityU in September 2000. Previously he taught at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. He received a medical degree from Baotou College of Medicine in Inner Mongolia, a Master degree in philosophy from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, and a Doctorate degree in philosophy from Rice University in Texas. Currently he serves as assistant editor of the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, editor of Asian Studies in Bioethics and the Philosophy of Medicine (a sub-series within the Philosophy and Medicine book series via Springer Publishers), and co-editor of International Journal of Chinese and Comparative Philosophy of Medicine (via Global Publications). |
