| Chan Ho-mun is Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Public and Social Administration, City University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA and an MPhil in Philosophy, and from the University of Sussex with an MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems. In 1994, he received his PhD (Philosophy and Cognitive Science) from the University of Minnesota. His publications have focused on exploring comparative social and political philosophy, applied ethics and public policy, and philosophy of science and technology. As a generic philosopher, he has developed and taught a wide range of philosophy and philosophy related courses offered by the Department at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is currently a member of Hospital Authority Clinical Ethics Committee and the Chairman of its Working Group on Advance Directives. |
