The French National Research Agency (Agence
Nationale de la Recherche, ANR) and the Research Grants Council (RGC) have
launched a joint research scheme in order to achieve world-class scientific and
technical results leading towards new knowledge. Both basic and applied research
proposals of high academic merits are invited for the Scheme in the following
disciplines:
Humanities
The Scheme supports research projects
for up to 4 years, with the ceiling of HK$3 million per project and EURO250,000
to be awarded respectively by RGC and ANR. Parallel
application submissions from the Hong Kong and the French applicants are
required to be submitted to the RGC and ANR respectively.
