| About the Speakers: | Professor Robert J. Shiller is a world-renowned expert on financial market volatility. He is a member of American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has published more than one hundred papers in most influential economics and finance journals, including American Economic Review, Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Finance. His advice on financial markets and housing markets are sought regularly by the US congress, the While House, the mass media, and many other private institutions. Professor Shiller is also an author of three award-winning books. In this public lecture, he will elaborate on the theme in his latest book "Irrational Exuberance" and offer his sobering analysis of recent US stock market performance. |
