Professor Chi-hou CHAN, Acting Provost of City University of Hong Kong, oversees all academic and associated development of City University, including faculty appointments, retention and promotion and the successful transformation to a modern curriculum with global orientation.

The Provost is assisted by Associate Provost (Academic Planning and Undergraduate Education) and Deans of Colleges and Schools, namely College of Business, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, School of Creative Media, School of Energy and Environment and School of Law on academic planning and development initiatives. He is also supported by the Chief Information Officer, the Director of City University Hong Kong Press and the Director of School of Continuing and Professional Education.
