Dr YUNG, Betty Lock
容樂
BA (HK), M.Phil. (HK), BA (Murdoch), PhD (Bristol)

Visiting Fellow
Betty Yung completed her PhD at the University of Bristol.  Her PhD research, which examines “Justice in Hong Kong housing policy”, is interdisciplinary in nature, integrating philosophy, public policy and housing studies.  She has worked at different universities in Hong Kong, including the University of Hong Kong, the Education University of Hong Kong and the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong (SPEED).   In addition to the academia, she has been a Senior Researcher at the Central Policy Unit of the HKSAR Government.  Her exposure in both sectors provides her a practical dimension of “politics and public policy at work” in research and teaching.
