Visiting Fellow
Huimin Du is a visiting fellow in the Department of Public Policy at City University of Hong Kong. Before joining the department, she held positions of research associate at the University of Bristol and postdoctoral research fellow at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research interests cover migration, housing, and urban studies. Her publications include a co-edited special issue of The China Review (with Jing Song and Si-ming Li), articles in Asian Geographer, Environment and Planning A, Journal of Youth Studies, Population Space and Place, and Urban Studies, as well as several book chapters. She received a number of awards, including inter alia the Writing-up Grant of the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research (IJURR) Foundation of the United Kingdom, and the Best Paper Award from the China Geography Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers.
