Course Aims

The aims of this course are threefold: 

 
  • to stimulate an understanding of the current state of global information systems in terms of their development, their capability, and their role in corporate and government strategy;
  • to explain what global information systems are in terms of theory and practice;
  • to give a foundation for the appreciation of how new types of information system will be likely to influence and change global business practices.
