Course Aims

The course aims to provide an overview of research and practice in health psychology at an advanced level. Given the wide array of topics that fall within the scope of health psychology, this course is intended to expose students to some of the major theoretical, assessment, and intervention issues in health, illness and disease. Topics covered in this course are situated within their social and cultural context and constantly linked back to real-world experience.
