Course Aims

The principal focus of the course is on the logic and principles of applying quantitative approach in social research. The topics will include research strategies and designs, measurement, questionnaire development, sampling, survey implementation, data processing, statistical reasoning in data analysis, and quantitative interpretation. In order to have a hands-on analysis of quantitative data, demonstration analyses and lab exercises will be done with data sets from selected studies using SPSS for Windows.

Survey Research Proposal: 50%
