INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON NONLINEAR WAVES IN SOLIDS ("NoW IN SOLIDS")

Nonlinear wave propagation as one of basic phenomena in solids is of both theoretical and practical importance. During the last two decades a widerange of problems in this area have been studied based on mathematical, physical and numerical approaches, and some remarkable results have been achieved. For example, it is now known that solitary waves are widely spread in solids. This workshop will discuss recent and prospective advances in nonlinear and linear waves in solids. It will consist invited lectures and contributed talks on a wide range of topics which include:
